How the process works, start to finish.
Working with TruPoint takes five steps. You complete an intake form or call to describe what you need. TruPoint sends a written disclosure, a written contract naming the total price, and a single payment link covering the preparation fee and the county charges. Once you sign and pay, drafting begins. You sign the finished document by remote online notarization through our Las Vegas partner ($25 per signature). South Las Vegas residents may also sign in person with our partner notary at the office, by appointment. TruPoint then submits it electronically to your county recorder the same day, and returns the recorded document to you. Counties typically complete recording within the same day to three business days.
Nothing is drafted before you have seen the price in writing, and nothing is submitted before you have signed. As of 2026 a standard Nevada deed is $250 including the Declaration of Value, electronic recording is $50, and the county recording fee is estimated at $50 and varies by county.

1 · Tell us what you need

2 · Get it in writing
We send a written disclosure, a written contract naming the total price, and one payment link covering our fee plus the county charges. You know the whole number before anything is drafted.
3 · We prepare it
We draft the document, complete the Declaration of Value, confirm the assessor’s parcel number and the name and address for the tax statement, and retrieve the prior recorded transfer if you do not have a copy.
4 · You sign and notarize
Sign by remote online notarization with our Las Vegas partner’s registered Nevada online notary ($25 per signature). South Las Vegas residents may also sign at our Las Vegas partner location with the commissioned Nevada notary who partners with us.
5 · We submit it for recording the same day
We submit electronically to your county the same day you sign. If the county rejects anything, we handle the rejection reason and resubmit. You receive the recorded document when it comes back.

The property
The address, and the assessor’s parcel number if you have it. If you do not, we can retrieve the last recorded transfer for $30 and take the legal description from the record.
Who is on title now
Exactly as the names appear on the current recorded deed — spelling and middle initials included, because the county matches them.
Who it is going to
Full legal names of the people or entity receiving the interest, plus a mailing address for each, which the recorder requires on the document.
What you want to happen
In plain words. You do not need the right terminology — describing the outcome is enough for us to explain which instruments do that.
If there is a court order
A divorce decree or a court order affecting the property. The document has to match what the order actually says.
If someone has died
A certified death certificate, which the county requires with the affidavit that completes the transfer.
