Terms of Service
Last updated 27 August 2026. These terms describe what TruPoint LLC does, what it does not do, and what each side is responsible for. They apply to this website and to the preparation of documents.
What we are
TruPoint LLC is a registered and bonded Nevada Document Preparation Service, operating from 8784 S. Maryland Pkwy, Suite 105, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
We are not attorneys, we are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. We prepare documents at your direction. We can explain what a Nevada instrument does and does not do, what a county requires, and what everything costs. We cannot tell you which document you should choose, interpret your circumstances, or represent you. Where a situation genuinely calls for legal advice we will say so and suggest you speak with an attorney.
Nothing on this site is advice
The pages on this website are general information about Nevada documents and procedures. They are not advice about your situation, and reading them does not make you a client. Statutes, county requirements and government fees change, and while we keep this site current we cannot guarantee every figure is accurate on the day you read it.
How an engagement begins
Submitting an intake form, sending an email or calling does not create an engagement. Nevada law requires a Document Preparation Service to give you a written disclosure and a written contract, signed, before any document is prepared. You will receive the written disclosure, a contract naming the total price, and a payment link. Work begins after you have signed and paid, and not before.
Fees and government charges
Our preparation fees are published on this site and stated in your contract before you pay. The county recording fee we collect is estimated at $50 per document, varies by county, and covers the county recording charge and the electronic recording platform transaction fee. The Real Property Transfer Tax, court filing fees and newspaper publication charges are government or third-party charges that we pass through at cost with no markup, and where they are paid directly by you we say so.
Refunds
You may cancel and receive a full refund at any point before drafting begins. Once we have started preparing your document, the fee is not refundable, because the work has been done at that point whether or not the document is ultimately signed or recorded.
Two things sit outside that. Government charges we have not yet paid on your behalf — county recording fees, transfer tax, court filing fees — are returned to you if they have not been spent. And if a document we prepared contains an error made on our end, we correct it and resubmit at no additional charge rather than refunding, so that you end up with the document you paid for.
Drafting begins only after you have signed the written contract and paid, so you always have the opportunity to see the total price and stop before any fee becomes non-refundable.
What you are responsible for
We prepare documents from the information you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the names, the property details, the values and the facts you provide, and for reading the document before you sign it. If something in it does not say what you intended, tell us before it is signed and recorded.
What we are responsible for
If a document we prepared contains an error made on our end, we correct it and resubmit it at no additional charge to you. That is the extent of our responsibility. We are not liable for outcomes that follow from information you gave us that was incomplete or incorrect, from a decision about which document to use, or from what happens after a document is recorded.
Recording and timing
We submit documents electronically to the county on the day they are signed and notarized. Counties typically complete recording within the same day to about three business days, but the completion window belongs to the county, not to us, and varies with jurisdiction and volume. We cannot guarantee a recording date.
A county may reject a document for its own reasons. Where the rejection is due to an error on our end, we correct and resubmit at our cost.
Communications are not privileged
Because we are not a law firm, communications with us do not carry attorney-client privilege. Please keep that in mind when deciding what to tell us.
Nevada property
The services described on this site are for Nevada documents. California property is handled by our separate California office, TruPoint California, under California rules and California terminology.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, call (702) 965-3030 or write to quinnie@trupointdeeds.com first and we will try to put it right. Nevada Document Preparation Services are registered and bonded through the Nevada Secretary of State, and complaints may also be directed there. Concerns about the unauthorized practice of law may be directed to the State Bar of Nevada.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
