Nevada power of attorney, prepared for $200 — so family can act when you cannot.
Need a power of attorney Las Vegas families can rely on? Every power of attorney Nevada families order here is $200: a durable power of attorney Nevada families use for money and property, or a medical power of attorney Nevada doctors follow.
A durable power of attorney lets someone you name handle your bank accounts, bills and property if you cannot. A health care power of attorney lets them make medical decisions if you cannot give informed consent. We prepare each for $200 for clients in Las Vegas, Reno and every Nevada county.

What happens after you send the form, in five steps.
No office visit needed. Here is the whole process, from your first message to signed documents in your hands.
1. You send the details
About ten minutes on the intake form, or a phone call. Who is giving authority, who they are naming as agent, and which documents they want.
2. You get a price in writing
We read it, ask anything missing, then send a written disclosure, a contract naming the total and one payment link. Nothing is drafted until you say yes.
3. We prepare the documents you direct
The durable power of attorney for financial matters, the power of attorney for health care, or both, with the choices you made written in.
4. You sign
The financial document before a notary. The health care document before a notary or two qualified adult witnesses. Sign from home by video with our partner’s registered Nevada online notary ($25 per signature), or at our South Las Vegas office if you live in South Las Vegas.
5. Ready to use
Signed copies go to you and your agent. If your agent will sign real estate documents, we record the power of attorney with the county.
What a Nevada power of attorney does, and what it does not.
A Nevada power of attorney for financial matters lets a person you name, your agent, act for you on your money and property. Nevada’s statutory form is durable, so it keeps working if you can no longer act for yourself, and it takes effect immediately unless you state otherwise. It does not cover health care decisions: those need a separate power of attorney for health care, which lets your agent make medical decisions if you cannot give informed consent. The financial document must be signed by you, and signing before a notary makes your signature presumed genuine. The health care document must be signed before a notary or two qualified adult witnesses. TruPoint prepares each for $200.
A general power of attorney like this is broad. For one job, such as signing a single deed, Nevada owners often use a special power of attorney limited to that property. Every power of attorney ends at death; after that, property passes by trust, will, Deed Upon Death, joint tenancy or court.
Someone needs to be able to act for you, before it becomes urgent.
A parent is getting older
Your parent wants a son or daughter able to pay bills, talk to the bank and speak with doctors. Your parent signs; the family can act.
Surgery or a long hospital stay is coming
Someone you trust can handle the mortgage, accounts and medical decisions while you recover.
You are away from Nevada for months
Working abroad, deployed or travelling. Your agent handles Nevada matters while you are gone.
You own rentals or a business
A named backup who can keep rent, repairs and payments moving if you cannot.
You have a trust but no power of attorney
A trust controls only what is in the trust. Accounts and matters outside it are what a financial power of attorney covers.
You want medical wishes respected
A health care power of attorney names who speaks for you with doctors if you cannot give informed consent.
If the person signing lives in a hospital, a group care home or a skilled nursing facility, Nevada requires a certification of competency from a physician, advanced practice registered nurse, psychologist or psychiatrist to be attached to the financial power of attorney. We are a document preparation service, not a law firm: we explain what each document does and prepare the ones you direct. Choosing your agent or deciding which powers to give is your decision, and legal advice belongs with an attorney.
$200 per document. Everything else shown separately.
Rates current as of 2026. Your written quote names every line before you pay, including the estimated $50 county recording fee.

What Nevada families actually ask, answered plainly.
$200 for a durable power of attorney for financial matters and $200 for a power of attorney for health care, or $400 for both. Notarization is separate: you sign from home by video with a registered Nevada online notary through our partner ($25 per signature), or, if you live in South Las Vegas, in person with our partner notary at our office, who charges $15 for the first signature and $7.50 for each additional one.
The person giving authority, called the principal, signs a power of attorney naming an agent. The financial document is signed before a notary, and the health care document before a notary or two qualified adult witnesses. An agent cannot obtain authority on their own; the principal has to sign. TruPoint prepares either document for $200.
A financial power of attorney must be signed by the principal, or by another person signing the principal’s name in the principal’s conscious presence and at their direction; signing before a notary makes the signature presumed genuine. A health care power of attorney must be signed before a notary or two adult witnesses. If the principal lives in a hospital or care facility, a certification of competency must be attached to the financial power of attorney.
For a financial power of attorney, notarizing makes your signature presumed genuine, and banks and title companies generally expect it. A health care power of attorney must be either notarized or signed before two qualified adult witnesses. For South Las Vegas residents signing in person at our office, our partner notary charges $15 for the first signature and $7.50 for each additional one.
A durable power of attorney keeps working if the principal can no longer act for themselves. Nevada’s statutory form for financial matters is durable and takes effect immediately unless the document states otherwise. TruPoint prepares it for $200.
A financial power of attorney covers money and property and does not authorize health care decisions. A power of attorney for health care lets your agent make medical decisions if you cannot give informed consent. Many people sign both; each is $200, or $400 together.
Only your parent can grant it, by signing the document while able to understand it. If your parent lives in a hospital or care facility, Nevada requires a certification of competency from a physician, advanced practice registered nurse, psychologist or psychiatrist to be attached to the financial power of attorney. We prepare the documents your parent directs for $200 each.
A power of attorney must be signed by the person giving authority. If that person can no longer understand what they are signing, a power of attorney is generally not available, and families usually turn to a court guardianship, which is outside what we prepare.
Generally any adult you trust. Nevada sets limits: a health care provider or an employee of a facility caring for you cannot be your health care agent unless they are your spouse, legal guardian or next of kin, and if you live in a hospital, assisted living or skilled nursing facility, that facility, its owners and its employees cannot be named as agent unless they are your spouse, legal guardian or next of kin, apart from a narrow Medicaid exception.
Nevada’s statutory financial form takes effect immediately unless you state otherwise in the special instructions. A power of attorney for health care is effective when signed unless it says it starts on a future date or on incapacity.
Yes. An agent’s authority ends at the principal’s death. Property then passes under a trust, will, Deed Upon Death or joint tenancy, or through probate.
Yes. Intake is online, the documents are emailed to you, and you sign from home by video with a registered Nevada online notary through our partner ($25 per signature). If you live in South Las Vegas you can also sign at our office, 8784 S. Maryland Pkwy, Suite 105, with our partner notary.
A living trust controls only property held in the trust. A financial power of attorney covers matters outside it, such as accounts not in the trust, taxes and benefits, which is why many people sign both. Which documents you sign is your decision; we prepare the ones you direct.
Not generally. It is recorded when your agent will sign real estate documents, so the authority is on the county record with the deed. Recording is $50 plus the county recording fee, estimated at $50.
A financial power of attorney that includes real property authority can be used to sign a deed, and it is recorded with the deed. For one transaction only, a special power of attorney limited to that property is also available for $250.
That is a different document. A power of attorney used in another country usually has to meet that country’s requirements and often needs translation and an apostille. We prepare that power of attorney for property overseas for $200, with translation and the apostille arranged through our sister company.
